  AS-12.jpg - AS-12 USS Sperry, Submarine Tender. Launched Dec. 17 1941 the first ship after Pearl Harbor. Built at Mare Island Naval Shipyard in Vallejo CA. Decommissioned Sept. 30 1982 at Bremerton. Transfered to Maritime Administration May 23 1998 and laid up in the National Defense Reserve Fleet, Suisun Bay, Benecia, CA awaiting disposal.
