  USSTaluga_001.JPG - Fleet oiler T-AO-62 USS Taluga laid down under Maritime Contract and acquired by the Navy. Commissioned 25 August 1944 and assigned to the Pacific theater. Earned 4 battle stars for WWII and suffered one kamikazi strike. Earned 4 battles stars for Korea and 6 Campaign stars for Vietnam. Placed out of service date unknown. Struck from Naval Register February 1992. Placed in Suisun in 1999. Probably one of the most rusted ships I have seen up here.
